Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Sanagis collects, why, and how it’s used and protected. It applies to sanagis.com and the Sanagis dashboard.

1. What we collect

Account data — your name, email, and password (stored securely and hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text).

Business data — the business details, website, categories, and connected properties (like Google Business Profile) you give us so Sage can analyse and act on your behalf.

Usage data — how you interact with the dashboard, to improve the product and diagnose issues.

Publicly available data — information about your business, competitors, and market that Sage researches from public sources (search results, review platforms, public listings) to build your Growth Plans.

2. How we use it

• To operate your account and the Sanagis dashboard;
• To generate visibility scores, opportunities, and content recommendations via Sage;
• To publish content to platforms you’ve explicitly connected and approved;
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates;
• To improve Sanagis’s models and features, in aggregate and de-identified form where possible.

3. What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t publish anything to a connected platform without your approval. We don’t share your business data with other Sanagis customers.

4. Third parties & sub-processors

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run Sanagis — including Supabase (authentication and database) and Vercel (hosting) — and, when you connect them, the third-party platforms you authorize (such as Google or Meta). Each is bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep it for legal or billing reasons.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — including the right to object to certain processing.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level data isolation — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll notify you if a breach affects your data as required by law.

8. Children

Sanagis is a business tool and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes, and notify you in-app or by email for material changes.
